At Front Line First Aid, we strive to give the most effective first aid training we can, and it is always nice to get feedback from our students as to what their experiences were like. We invite you to read on...
“I hadn't even been out of training an hour and came home to have supper with my sister who started to choke on her food. She wasn't able to cough up what she was choking on and I had to perform the "Heimlich" on her. About 4 pumps later she coughed up a piece or pork chop. After that I took her to the doctor to make sure she I hadn't done any damage to her stitches or abdomen from her hernia surgery and she's doing fine, the doctor just said to watch for bruising. I can hardly believe the coincidence, I just got home from training and had to use what I learned. Thank you very much. “

“Hey Jason,
thanks for the follow up! I thought I would just let you know that I had to use my first aid for the first time! I was at my friend's house and a girl who was walking by collapsed and started having seizures. It was really scary, we were afraid she would hit her head on the cement! The ambulance didn't end up coming because she ran off right after. I was so thankful to have taken the course only a couple weeks prior! Even though I didn't do everything right, I felt so much more calm having done the training.....so thanks!"

“Well, I thought you may like to know that the CPR recert that I did on Sunday night was good timing: I got back to work this morning and we had a woman come in that we had to do CRP on for 20 minutes before her heart started and we got her breathing again. The Ambulance had an AED but she didn't have a shockable rhythm. Anyhow, we stabilized her enough to send her out. So thanks again, and good luck with your First Aid teaching.

"Always good to be prepared. For sure you can use the write up I sent on your web page. We found out that the lady had had a massive brain aneurysm, and is not going to make it. But they are going to harvest her organs; a team is coming up from Van right now. So our hard work in keeping her perfused will hopefully help save someone else's life, even if we couldn't save hers."
